RemoSign is committed to making its service usable by people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as part of the product, not as an add-on.
This service aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. Based on our own evaluation, it is partially conformant: most of the platform meets the standard, and some parts do not yet. We have not commissioned an independent audit, and we do not claim certified compliance. We state this plainly rather than overstate it.
The European Accessibility Act exempts microenterprises that provide services from its accessibility requirements (Article 4(5) of Directive (EU) 2019/882). We apply WCAG 2.1 level AA to this service as a matter of policy regardless. Where national law imposes stricter duties on us, those duties apply in addition to this statement.
An accessibility toolbar is available on every page (the round button at the edge of the screen) and includes:
The interface is available in seventeen languages, including full right-to-left support, and the signing flow works on mobile devices.
Documents uploaded by users (PDF files) are created by the uploader and may not be accessible; we cannot change their content. Signature capture offers two ways to sign: drawing on screen with a mouse, finger or stylus, or typing your name, which works with a keyboard alone and with a screen reader. Typing is available by default. A document owner may restrict a particular document to drawing only; if that prevents you from signing, contact us and we will arrange another way. Some complex tables scroll horizontally on narrow screens. We are working on these.
Self-evaluation of the platform against WCAG 2.1 level AA, carried out by the operator using keyboard-only navigation, screen-reader spot checks, contrast measurement and mobile testing. Last carried out on the date shown above.
If you meet a barrier, tell us and we will fix it. Write to support@remosign.com describing the page and what happened. We aim to reply within 10 business days, and to say what we will do and when. Reporting a barrier costs you nothing and no account is needed. Email is the channel we recommend. Write to support@remosign.com and your report is logged and tracked.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may take the matter to the accessibility enforcement body in your country. In the European Union that is the national market-surveillance or accessibility authority of your member state.
